Only great things can happen when two forces of music and fashion combine.
The South African DJ is taking South Africa to new heights in the global music scene, and is now entering the realm of fashion in the most epic way possible.
From performing at Coachella this past weekend to being nominated for a Nickelodian Kids Choice Award, the deep- house DJ has had a metoric rise to fame, rubbing shoulders and collaborating with international superstars such as Alicia Keys and rapper Drake.
Safe to say Black Coffee – who’s real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo is making waves abroad while being affectionately welcomed into the big names of music – and fashion’s inner circle.
His latest venture boasts a partnership with Lous Vuitton’s newest menswear designer, streetwear maven and all-round creative genius, Virgil Abloh.

Judging from the crowds Black Coffee draws when he plays on his own, we can’t imagine the the absolute pandemonium that will ensue when he rocks up with someone like Virgil Abloh on the decks.
One thing’s for sure, we HAVE to be at one of these parties when it arrives on our shores.
