The stars gave us showstopper moments with simple silhouettes and subdued colour tones.
The 60th annual Grammy Awards took place this weekend and as usual, all eyes were on red carpet as some of our favourite pop stars and musical legends sported flamboyant fashion and avant-garde style.
Known for being more playful than it’s other award show counterparts, the Grammys give stars the perfect opportunity for risk-taking and OTT looks. However, this year it seemed minimal and subdued was the way to go, as guests channeled classic silhouettes and neutral tones. Nevertheless, we still managed to spot a few show-stopper ensembles.
A number of celebs paired their outfits with white roses in support of the #TimesUp movement to protest against sexual harassment.
RITA ORA
The singer flashed a whole lot of leg in a sexy and sophisticated black velvet number from Ralph and Russo’s spring 2017 couture collection.
HAILEE STEINFELD
The young starlet was age appropriate in a crisp white gown from Alexandre Vauthier’s spring collection. She jazzed up the structured tailoring with metallic purple boots and matching eye makeup for a look that was cool and fun.

CARDI B
The newcomer and first-time nominee made a statement while serving us intergalactic princess vibes in a voluminous gown by Ashi Studio.
JANELLE MONAE
We loove this feminine take on androgynous dressing by Janelle Monáe. The singer and actress suited up in a floral tuxedo from Dolce and Gabbana’s Spring 2018 collection.
LANA DEL REY
Lana looked angelic in an ethereal flowy gown by Gucci. The sultry singer paired the silver embellishments with sparkly jewellery and finished off the look with a starry crown.
SZA
The singer turned heads as she made her debut appearance on the Grammy Awards red carpet. The sheer tulle creation by Atelier Versace was paired with SZA’s beautifully cascading natural locks, for a voluminous look from head to toe.
CHRISSY TEIGEN & JOHN LEGEND
Everyone’s favourite duo looked dapper as Chrissy Teigen showed off her baby bump in a silvery sequined gown by Yanina Couture, while John Legend opted for a sleek black tuxedo and bow-tie.
