Model and television personality Ashley Graham started a TikTok trend that is inspiring people to celebrate their bodies as they are.

In the video that has been viewed over a million times, the 33-year old new mum poses in front of her mirror in a brown buttoned up cardigan and animal print underwear as she appreciates different parts of her body.

The body positive model used her own audio for the clip in which she says, “Self-love challenge, go!” And proceeds to reveal the strongest part of her body; her favourite part, the sexiest, the most important part and the part of her body she would not change.

At the end of the TikTok video she calls on others to celebrate themselves using the same sound, and thousands have taken part already.

Popular TikTok user Sienna Mae Gomez posted her version of the video sporting a white swimsuit while she revealed the favourite parts of her body.

After numbers of people posted their challenge videos, Graham took to Instagram to encourage more people to join in.

She posted a carousel of videos of people taking part in the challenge on TikTok and captioned it, “I’m not crying youre crying. so many beautiful people have been using my sound on TikTok to celebrate their bodies. take a second today to celebrate yours!”

Another user wrote, “Yes! The world needs more genuine self love.”

Graham has been an outspoken when it comes to body positivity throughout her career having recently told WSJ. magazine that she does not want to be called a plus-sized model.

“I hate that I constantly have to discuss my body, because I don’t know any man that has to do that. But what motivates me to continue to talk about my body is that I didn’t have someone talking about their body when I was young.

“This is why I don’t post like the ‘perfect’ Instagram photos. I keep it real and raw constantly because I want [people] to know that there are women with cellulite, with back fat, with stretch marks … There are a lot of curvy women, plus-size women, fat women, whatever you want to call them,” she told the magazine at the time.
