Saturday, fans across the galaxy, far far away, filled up Hollywood Boulevard to catch a glimpse of the cast of the film “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” at The Pantages Theatre, in Los Angeles.
The film, which is positioned between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope, is the first standalone film in the Star Wars Anthology series.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film explores the events prior to Episode IV involving the Death Star.
Felicity Jones portrays Jyn Erso, an ex-criminal who fought as a sergeant for the Alliance to Restore the Public until she was detained by the Rebel Alliance.
Having been giving a second chance by the Alliance, she was recruited once again after plans for a weapons test by her father, Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelson).
The film comes a year after “Episode VII: A Force Awakens” as “Rogue One” opened to mass reception and for director Gareth Edwards, it was the biggest relief of his life.
“I was nervous right up until the end. But when those credits hit, there was this primal cheer. I had to be really careful not to start crying. Star Wars means everything to me.”
Many couldn’t contain their excitement over the film premiere as those who attended gave us exactly what we needed to hear about the film:
