His music projects a raw and honest depiction of Cape Town. He is complete fire and only needs a pair of “takkies” to start flowing through the beat like a beast.

He is bars on bars insane and he keeps it coming. He is the hottest rapper in Cape Town and above all, he represents.

He is so talented that between 2010 and 2011, he released 24 mix tapes. You may begin the slow clap. And he has opened for the likes of Lil Wayne and Talib Kweli.

He is regarded as one of the top artists in Africa.

The Nigerian sensation has been ripping up stages ever since his breakout in 2011 with “Dami Duro” and the release of his debut album “Omo Baba Olowa”.

It’s not hard to see why this artist is so highly regarded. He has already collaborated with the likes of Meek Mill, Ice Prince and Mafikizolo.

He also has his own record Label (HKN Music), which he co-owns with his brother (Adewale Adeleke) and he is also signed to Sony Music.

He is well-known in Africa and makes waves every time he is handed a microphone.

His hit song, “Mama I Made it” peaked at number one on the iTunes South African chart and he has collaborated with the likes of Talib Kweli, the hit song “Doc Shebeleza”.

He is among the baddest of the bad in the rapping game.

He is not known as “the Prince of South African Rap” for nothing; he truly lives up to it. He is classy but when he is handed a microphone he will spit fire.

He has opened stages for the likes of Big Sean, Kanye West and Snoop Dogg.

His hits include “Baddest- ft Khuli Chana, Yanga and Burna Boy” and “the world is yours”.

6. Khuli Chana

He is considered the best hip-hop artist in South Africa.

Once Khuli Chana was shot at by the police after being mistaken for a criminal. Nine shots were fired, but Chana walked away from it with his life.

His albums that gained him success is ‘MotswakOriginator’ and ‘Lost in time’.

He is the youngest recipient of an award at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards.

She danced into the limelight after her feature in the Big Nuz’s track “Tsege Tsege”.
