JOHANNESBURG – Niall Horan has followed in the footsteps of his former member, Zayn Malik and released his new solo single ‘This Town’.
Horan sent his fans into a frenzy when he tweeted out that he had been working on new music and thanked his fans ‘For always being there’. However, it turns out a new song was not the only surprise Horan had in store for fans, as he accompanied his new song with an acoustic visual.

Horan released the song on iTunes and Spotify. The song was produced by Gregg Kirsten, who has worked with major artists such as Sia, Adele and Kelly Clarkson. Horan signed a deal with Capitol Records, so you can expect more music from him. Yay!
However, what does this mean for one of the biggest boy bands in the world? Since all the boys from One Direction seem to be headed in their own direction?
With Zayn Malik launching his incredible solo career, father of one, Louis Tomlinson setting up his own record label with Simon Cowell, Liam Payne signing with Capitol UK and Harry Styles shooting a recent ‘Another Man’ shoot and Horan officially releasing his own music, it’s hard to see the boys reuniting to working on music together again.
