Savvy home bakers have been showing off their incredible lockdown creations made in a slow cooker with three simple ingredients.
As we all remember, the first lockdown saw Instagram go crazy for banana bread; luckily home cooks have not stopped baking since.
Taking to Facebook group Crockpot/Slow Cooker Recipes & Tips, one baker revealed their recipe for a 3 ingredient sponge cake using a can of condensed milk, a handful of chocolate chips and two and a half cups of self-raising flour.
Alan Hogg, from Leeds, who also revealed pictures of his delicious bake, said he put his on high for two and half hours to make the cake.
‘Just pulled this out the slow cooker smells amazing,’ he wrote.
‘Looking forward to a slab with custard later on,’ he added.

He quickly racked up hundreds of comments and praise for the treat, with one saying it ‘looks delicious’.

Ingredients
One can of condensed milk
A handful of chocolate chips
2.5 cups of self-raising flour
