More than two decades after her tragic death, Princess Diana’s influence is just as visible today as it was back then.
Some of her famous looks have been making a comeback thanks to influencers that have been reviving some of her trendy looks.
Most of the young people recreating her looks are Gen Z’s, some of which weren’t born yet when Diana was wearing them which proves that her style was timeless.
Diana’s laid back street style, love of mom jeans and her understanding of the power that a little black dress possess has made it easy for young people to gravitate towards her looks.

A popular influencer that enjoys recreating Diana’s looks is Jade Leslie. She credits her mother for helping her discover Diana’s style and explained why she loves it to the Daily Mail.
“I love how Diana didn’t stick to the royal style rules. She wore what she liked. You imagine a princess being told what to wear but you don’t imagine a cool, model-like woman in an oversized sweatshirt and cycling shorts,” she said.

“There’s something incredible about a princess wearing the coolest street style, especially back then. A lot of her casual outfits exuded that ‘off-duty model’ vibe that’s so popular with celebrities now. I couldn’t imagine the Duchess of Cambridge doing the same thing,” Leslie added.
Fashion content creator Nicole Mainwaring also recreated some of Diana’s famous laid back outfits under the hashtag #princessdianaoutfits which has over 1 million views on TikTok.

Another creator that has perfected dressing like Diana, is Kaden. Known for his ‘Diana stan account’, Kaden recreates the icon’s looks with the exact matches of some of Diana’s most famous clothes. He searches through the internet for the pieces, especially Diana’s sweaters.

Viewers love the Diana content with one commenting on Kaden’s video saying, “This is the biggest flex ever, I’m obsessed.”
