You don’t need to spend a lot on your Halloween outfit and makeup. All you need is an old pair of jeans and a torn T-shirt. As for makeup, we’ve got you ‘covered’. Get it?

Riche Kriger (23), is a Cape Town based beautician who has studied Somatology, hair and makeup. Kriger guides us through an easy step-by-step Halloween makeup tutorial in less than 10 minutes.

All you need is the following:

1. Concealer
2. Foundation
3. Powder
4. Black eye shadow
5. Brushes
6. Black eye-shadow and water

“The aim is to use a concealer or white paint that is lighter than your skin, to give you a dramatic effect,” says Kriger.

Tip: Try not to use aqua paint because when you sweat the paint will drip, ruining your entire look.

Whether you use paint, concealer or foundation, always use makeup brushes to blend everything into your skin so that your skin tone looks even.
