Kick off the spring season with a spin on the traditional fruit salad by turning into a smoothie. Source: pexels.com

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

2 bananas, sliced
2 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
a punnet of strawberries, sliced
a cup of blueberries
2 cups of papaya/mango, chopped
1 cup of pineapple, chopped

1/2 cup of breakfast mix/tropical juice
2 cups of greek/plain yoghurt
mint leaves to garnish

Method:

1. In a blender, place the pineapple and apples at the bottom and pulse. Add 1/4 cup of the juice to smooth.
2. Add your papaya/mango and banana slices followed by another 1/4 cup of juice.
3. Then add your berries and yoghurt and pulse once more.
4. Pour into individual glasses and garnish with some mint leaves.
