Ingredients

2 Tbsp salted butter
1/4 cup packed light-brown sugar
1 large egg
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch salt for taste
3 Tbsp milk chocolate chips

Method

Add butter and brown sugar to a large Microwavable mug.
Heat in microwave on high power for 45 seconds, then remove from microwave and stir mixture with a fork.
Mix in egg and vanilla extract.
Stir in cocoa powder.
Add flour, baking powder and salt and stir until well combine.
Mix in chocolate chips.
Cook mixture in microwave: (Setting: High power) for 1 minute 50 seconds – 2 minutes 30 seconds

*(time will vary based on varying microwave wattage).

Don’t overcook!

Serve warm topped with ice cream and (chocolate sauce/ caramel sauce & sea salt, if desired).
