Who said you aren’t allowed to have ice-cream in winter? So lets heat things up!

Ice-cream lovers, health conscious individuals’, vegan enthusiasts’ this recipe is for you!

Ingredients:

2 large scoops (approx. 150ml) Cocoa flavoured coconut milk ice-cream

1 tbsp. cocoa powder

1 tsp. xylitol

1 tsp. vanilla extract

¼ tsp, ground cinnamon

½ tsp. ground cloves

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Instructions:

Step 1:

Gently heat ice-cream on medium heat until soft and creamy

Remove from heat

Step 2:

Add almond milk, stir thoroughly and return to heat

Step 3:

Add remaining ingredients and allow to brew on low heat so that all flavours infuse, about 5 mins.

Step 4:

Pour into mug, top with a small scoop of cocoa flavoured ice-cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder, pecans and cacao nibs.
