December is around the corner and many of us are planning getaways to different parts of the world. Apart from a gateway, this is an opportune season to pop the question.

Popping the question is nerve-wracking and a once-in-a-lifetime moment, so if you’re travelling to Italy, allow us to share some fabulous venues perfect for ‘proposal moments’:

1. The Acqua Paola Fountain

Fontana dell’Acqua Paola also known as Il Fontanone (“The big fountain”) was designed and built to mark the terminus of the Trajan Aqueduct between 1610 and 1614, by architects Giovanni Fontana, laminio Ponzio and Ippolito Buzio. The fountain is located on the Janiculum Hill, near the church of San Pietro in Montorio, in Rome, Italy.

Tip: We recommend that you propose during sunset. This is for selfie purposes if your partner likes taking pictures. Trick him/ her by asking someone to take a picture of you together and while they prepare their killer pose, go on one knee and pop the question.
