1. Table Mountain, South Africa
Table Mountain for many represents solace, tranquility and self reflection. Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark, overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa.
2. Fayoum Oasis, Cairo
Fayoum City, the main town in the oasis, is located 85 km south of Cairo. Although usually described as an oasis, Fayoum is not fed by underground water, like the western Sahara Desert oases further to the south and west, but by water from the Nile transported to this natural triangular depression by a series of canals.

The Atlas Mountains are a mountain range in the Maghreb. It stretches around 2,500 km (1,600 mi) through Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.
8. Chiremba / Epworth Balancing Rocks, Zimbabwe
Although the Chiremba / Epworth balancing rocks are not as extensive as Domboshava, or Ngomakurira in the Harare area, they are well-known locally because one of the strange granite formations appears on the old Zimbabwean dollar notes issued during the period of hyper-inflation.

Lake Kivu is one of the African Great Lakes. It lies on the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, and is in the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift. Lake Kivu empties into the Ruzizi River, which flows southwards into Lake Tanganyika.

The island has several historic buildings – including the House of Slaves, which records the painful history of the slave trade.

15. David Sheldrick elephant orphanage, Nairobi
The orphanage seeks to protect and rescue elephants through their ultimate rehabilitation and back into the wild. The center provides love and support to elephants that need to overcome the physical and psychological journey until they are fit to go back to the wild.
