A serial killer is a person who commits a series of murders, often with no apparent motive and typically following a characteristic, predictable behaviour pattern.
Just to simplify it for you.
PURE EVIL…
Here are eight South African serial killers, whose rampage of evil will leave you beyond horrified:
1. David Randitsheni
Randitsheni, a man who takes the meaning of evil to all new heights.
He was convicted in 2009 on 10 counts of murder, 17 counts of rape and 18 counts of kidnapping and one count of indecent assault.
For his actions, he received 16 life sentences and 220 years in prison.

Of his victims, only one was an adult, the rest were all innocent little children.
After receiving his final judgement, he apparently killed himself.
2. Moses Sithole
The most evil killer known to South Africa.
Nicknamed, the “ABC Murders”. He got this name, because his killing spree began in Atteridgeville, continued in Boksburg and ended in Cleveland (a suburb in Jozi.)
What makes him a vile human being is that, he managed an organisation called, Youth Against Human Abuse. He was apparently “devoted” to ending child abuse.
All of his victims were females, lured under the pretense of an interview to join his charity.
He would take them to fields, beat them, rape them and eventually murder them. At the end of his heinous acts, he would write the word bitch on their dead bodies.
He has killed 38+ women before his capture in 1995.
He has been dubbed as South Africa’s most evil serial killer.
3. Sipho Mandla Agmatir Thwala
He was known as the “Phoenix Strangler”.
Thwala was convicted on 16 counts of murder and 10 counts of rape. He would lure local women through sugar cane fields, promising employment before committing his cruel acts.
He burnt the sugar cane fields afterward, hoping get rid of the evidence of his crimes.
He received one of the longest sentences in South African history: 506 years, when he was apprehended in 1997.
4. Elias Xitavhudzi
The ‘Pangaman’.
During the dark days of the Apartheid era, Xitavhudzi savagely murdered 16 men and women. They were all white and lived in strictly segregated communities.
He would disfigure their bodies using a machete.
He was sentenced to death and hanged on November of 1960.
5. Stewart Wilken
The man who claimed to be doing the “Lord’s work”. The necrophiliac “working for God”.
He killed 10+ people over a 10 year period (1990-1997), including his own daughter, who’s body he kept hidden for six months.
Wilken claimed he was trying to help his daughter, by sending her to God.
His killing of Henry Bakers was atrocious. He confessed that he sodomized the boy while he was dying, and had sex with the boy’s decomposed body.
He is deemed as a killer who can not be rehabilitated.
6. Petrus Madiba
MADIBA’S DAY OF JUDGEMENT
He might share a name with Nelson Mandela, but they are polar opposites.
Madiba, the real one, was destined to free a nation. This one, left a nation in tears.
He killed eight women and a baby girl. He blamed all the brutal killings on the women, stating that he was in a relationship with all of them.
He killed the baby girl (also killed the mother), because he claimed it was not his child, but this was later revealed to be false.
What is so sad about this is that, the murders were all committed while he was on bail for another murder.

7. Gert Van Rooyen
He was jailed in 1979, for sexually assaulting two girls, served only three years of the four and was then released. Big mistake…
Rooyen, then found himself a female partner (Joey Haarhof) who would then go on to help him with his heinous acts.
They would contact children homes offering to “take care” of young girls during school holidays and weekends.
They managed to kill six young girls, there would nearly be a seventh victim, but she escaped and alerted police.
The bodies of these little angels were never found.
8. Jack Mogale
THE SELF PROCLAIMED “PROPHET OF GOD”
He terrorised the outskirts of Johannesburg, during 2008-2009.
He is simply dubbed as the West-End serial killer.
He was convicted for the killings of 16 people.
He was eventually apprehended in 2009, after one of his would be victims, a young teenage girl, managed to escape after he left her for dead.
During his court trial, where he was found guilty for all his sadistic acts, Mogale smiled, grinned and laughed out loud, after being found guilty.
What is shocking is that this guy is claimed to be a preacher and prophet of the Lord’s work.
These monsters have proven that the only entities capable of real evil in this world, is mankind.
