Sanele Simmons, now a well-renowned name in the beauty and modelling industries has launched the Sanele Simmons Shine Academy, a finishing and modelling school opening its doors to Johannesburg youth mid-February this year.

The Academy, situated in Bryanston, Johannesburg is tailored for young women and men; particularly teenagers between the ages of 13-18, boys and girls who wish to empower themselves with skills and knowledge they wouldn’t necessarily receive from the current educational curriculum.

The Academy’s curriculum is designed to assist individuals in learning social skills, EQ and practical skills, with a core component of the programme encompassing modelling and beauty industry teachings, which are well aligned with the Founder, Sanele Simmons’ professional background.

Modules within this programme will include, but not be limited to etiquette, grooming, self-confidence, entrepreneurship and financial management to name just a few. Training will be conducted by a team of industry experts in their various fields who will provide theoretical and practical training over a 7 week period, Saturdays only.

Its your time to shine!

“Typically, in the formal school system, individuals do not have an opportunity to develop self-confidence and other necessary social skills. We often undermine the importance of these progressive areas in our children’s lives. The benefits of attending the Academy are huge within interpersonal relationships, the work environment, and life in general”, says Sanele Simmons.

“The Academy also boasts a committed team of coaches, including Luthuli Dlamini (Film and TV Actor), Nonhle Thema (TV personality and Talent Coach), Leon Johan Haasbroek (Fashion Publicist), as well as Prof. Lulama Makhubela a research expert and businesswoman, and several other coaches that add credibility to our programme”, concludes Sanele.

Parents are encouraged to invest in the future of their children by enrolling their teens in this programme, as space is now limited due to uptake.

This is the perfect supplement towards the personal development of the youth in South Africa.

Email SSShineacademy@gmail.com to enrol for upcoming courses. The first set of students have an opportunity to be scouted by Blaze Models among other programme incentives.
