Ntombi Gumede has been in the modelling industry for quite some time, started at the age of 8years then took a break to focus on her studies when she got to high school.

In 2014 after her busy school life Ntombi then decided to go back into the modelling industry as a fitness beach bikini model. She’s now in the running to be crowned Mrs Africa in November.

She owns and runs the first Posh kiddies salon and Spa in the north of Durban, uMhlanga.

“I saw the idea when I travelled to Dubai and I told myself that I’m definitely taking the idea back home with me, if adults can be pampered, why not our little ones? I love transforming the little boys and girls into princes and princesses they always dreamed of been”

She further explains how Posh kiddies salon and spa has been her biggest success. The salon and spa has been up and running for six months with a promising future and growing from strength to strength, with the support of her husband of five years, Ntombi is able to balance her busy life and her motherly duties to her children.

Her love and passion for kids is the driving force for hosting a KZN kiddie’s fun day, a fundraising charity drive on the 1st of October at Bulwer Park in Durban.

“Charity to me means giving back to the community not because you expecting anything in return, but you want to make a difference, making a difference does not mean you need to change the world but you can maybe change one person’s life, and I also believe that while trying to change the world the world is slowly changing you into a better person”

The funds raised on this charity drive will go to Dignity Dreams, a charity organisation for Mrs Africa.
