Following the success of her debut album Due Drop (which got her a BET Award nomination) and the recent announcement of her voicing the first black Powerpuff Girl, Toya Delazy continues her rise as one of the most versatile and exciting new talents boasting from Africa, with the release of her ‘London Town’ music video, off her third album, Uncommodified.

The 27-year-old East London-based MC recruited Rymez on the production (SteffLon Don, Wiley, Lil Yacht …), wrapping the wordsmith’s signature ferocious and fearless flow in infectious afro-beat and heavy bass sound. Shot in the gritty streets of East London, UK, the video concept is quite straightforward: it’s light and feel good – with a pinch of togetherness.

‘London Town’ reached #3 on Musicweek.com’s Urban Club Chart in April 2018 and premiered on Rinse FM’s Lady Leshurr show. 

The song has since been getting airplay on Reprezent FM, Amazing Radio and Pulse 88.
