South African rapper Genesis Gabriella Manney also known as Gigi Lamayne has finally spoken up after she had her friends and fans in a frenzy over the weekend.
It all started when she posted some cryptic tweets that suggested she would be ending her own life, which were later deleted.
Gigi’s concerning tweet sent a wave of shock from people who caught wind of what was going on, others even requested for her cell phone number so they could check if she was ok.
Shortly afterward it was speculated that she was admitted to hospital.
Content producer and a close collaborator, Rashid Kay, confirmed this, tweeting;

On Monday morning, the rapper tweeted a picture of her hand with words written: “Depression won’t win.”

Her fans started sending well wishes to the rapper over Twitter.
