Ingredients:
500g mutton
2 medium onions
6 medium tomatoes
2 tablespoons of ginger garlic
1/2 cup of oil
1/2 teaspoon of whole jeera seeds
3 tablespoons of shan meat nasal
2 tablespoons of taj mahal a1 mix masala
3 medium potatoes (optional)
salt to taste
Fresh Dhania/Coriander leaves
Loaf of white bread
Method:
Heat oil in a medium pot.
Blend the onions using a blender
Add the blended onions into the heated oil and when the colour changes to light brown add the meat
Allow it to braise and add ginger garlic and jeera spices.
Allow mix to cook
Blend the tomatoes
Add a1 and shan masala into the pot
When the oil surfaces, add the tomatoes
Close the pot with the lid and allow to cook, after a few minutes add the potatoes (optional step) and allow to cook.
Add water if required and salt to taste
When cooked and off the stove, garnish with fresh Dhania leaves.
Slice bread loaf in half and remove the innards of the loaf.
Fill half of the loaf with thick mutton curry and serve with salad and the soft part of bread as a side.
