Condolences pour in for ‘The Boondocks’ actor John Witherspoon

Comedian and actor John Witherspoon has passed away at the age of 77. 

The Witherspoon family took to Twitter with the news writing, “It is with deep sadness we have to tweet this, but our husband & father John Witherspoon has passed away. He was a Legend in the entertainment industry and a father figure to all who watched him over the years. We Love you “POPS” always and forever.”

Tributes quickly started pouring in for The Boondocks actor who also stared in a variety of films and shows including the iconic movie Friday.
