South African actress Thuso Mbedu flew to New York City to attend the 46th International Emmy awards.
Mbedu was nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress award for her role as the audacious Winnie on the Mzansi Magic hit show, Is’thunzi.
Although she did not win the award, South Africans remain incredibly proud of her.
