Unhappy Durban employees get vocal on the International Day of Decent Work

President of COSATU Sdumo Dlamini says, “We are here today at the Head office of Checkout Supermarket. We as COSATU have come to support our fellow workers behind me because they are being abused by their employer. These employees want their pension money to be put into a provident fund but the employer does not want to. Instead the employer wants to withhold 3% of their salaries. The employees want to save for their children’s future and we are here as COSATU to support their movement.”
