Carolina McCauley, who uses her Instagram and TikTok accounts to share simple household hacks, has revealed five daily habits that will help you keep your home clean.

In the short video that has been viewed over 300,000 times on Instagram, McCauley lists the five habits, which include making sure your bed is done every morning, in order to keep your home clean.

Here are the 5 habits McCauley suggests will keep your home clean:

1. When leaving a room, always make sure it is clear

2. Keep all flat surfaces clean and clutter-free

3. Make your bed every morning

4. Always keep the kitchen sink clean

5. Fold the clean laundry straight away to prevent wrinkles

Folding laundry immediately after it is done seemed to be where most people drew the line.

“Idk [I don’t know] about the folding laundry part, it usually takes me 5-7 business days,” a user wrote.
