E-hailing company Taxify, now known as Bolt, is taking a bite out of the food delivery services market as it plans to launch its very own food delivery services in three countries: Estonia, Finland, and of course South Africa.

According to reports the company promised to provide “the best food delivery service” in South Africa – joining the likes of Uber Eats, Mr D Food, and OrderIn, which are already well known in the country.

Reports continue to claim that Bolt will roll out the service using its existing drivers and customers, which covers a large geographic footprint.

People then took to Twitter to discuss and even make fun of the news;

The company has not said how quickly it plans to launch the food service, but we will be waiting to try it as soon as possible.
