#ANCNEC is trending on Social media since cabinet members announced the call for President Jacob Zuma’s resignation on Sunday.
Minister of Tourism, Derek Hannekom, was the first to table a motion of no confidence in the President.
The reaction on twitter was assorted, as tweeps expressed their views:
“There is fire on the mountaintop, yet no body seems to be on the run” says Asa. Doesn’t this come to mind considering #ANCNEC: walking dead

The #ANCNEC media briefing was mostly hot air from Gwede Mantashe. Tough job: He secretly thinks JZ should go and so can’t spin effectively.
