JOHANNESBURG – South African hip-hop/Xhosa rapper iFani has revealed his latest project on Twitter.

iFani will be hosting a street dancing show on SABC 1 every Thursday night at 7:30pm, starting from October 13th, called “Street Cred”.

iFani, who has a very “unconventional” style of dressing, was born Mzayifani Mzondeleli Boltina in Mthatha, Eastern Cape. He first exposed himself into the world of music with the song ‘Hola Hater’ and dropped some more well known tracks such as “Milli” and “Shake”.

The “Milli” rapper isn’t really new to the television screens. He hosted the documentary series, “Mi Kasi Su Kasi” and has appeared on “Zaziwa”, “Top Billing” and “The Man Cave”.

The rapper also studied computer engineering, graduating with full honours from the University of Cape Town.

The rapper recently collaborated with rocker Francois Van Coke for an episode of Coke Studio, spawning the single “Timeline” which can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoxZSj3fHRw
