Meghan Markle is “thrilled” to make her first public outing as Prince Harry’s fiancée.

The 36-year-old actress accompanied the 33-year-old royal in Nottingham on Friday where they made their first joint appearance as an engaged couple.

And the brunette beauty was honoured to be in the area and visiting Nottingham World Aids Day charity fair. Speaking to Alison Hammond, who was at the venue reporting live for ‘This Morning’, the former ‘Suits’ star said: “I’m so happy it’s just a thrill to be here.”

The television presenter swiftly passed on her congratulations to Meghan, who announced her and Harry were taking their romance to the next step and they will be tying the knot in 2018 earlier this week, and Meghan was thankful for the well wishes.

During Harry and Meghan’s visit they will not only visit the fair, which will be hosted by Terrence Higgins, before making their way to a nearby school where they will meet with the head teachers of the institution.

The soon-to-be husband and wife will go on to watch a “hip hopera” at Nottingham Academy, where they will continue to meet with students.
