CAPE TOWN – VIBING WITH THE KINGS follows a journey of four young men who are originally from Eastern Cape, but have merged together in the Mother City with a common goal of turning their dreams into a reality.

Like everything worth having, the journey is paved with obstacles. However, due to the brotherhood culture that the kings have, they help each other to make it through. Vibing with the Kings is a narrative of being a student in modern day South Africa.

Meet the Kings…

Zonke Nkayi

Zonke is a student at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) studying Real Estate. He has a dream of writing a script and hopefully it might be an incredible short film.

In 10 years from now, he sees himself as the owner of properties, he would also like to start an initiative that aims at educating youngsters on the social issues we face in our society and in turn he hopes that it will bring out change in how disadvantaged young people view the world.

Signature style: “My style is never the same, I go through phases and as of now I’m really into the military meets Fresh Prince of Bel Air look”, says Zonke

Siphe Nxasana An Interior Design student from CPUT, many might be familiar with this face from a Capitec advert. Siphe is the face of Kwezia comic book of the first African superhero.

Stay on the look for the future interior design TV show where he will give back to disadvantaged people by creating a better living lifestyle and environment in their homes. To all the fashionaistas out there, Siphe sees himself owning his clothing brand and becoming a stylist.

Mandla Waterson

He recently completed his Information Technology NQF level-4 Certificate in Systems Development at CPUT, he’s currently campaigning for a cover on Men’s Health magazine. Mandla hopes to run his personal modelling agency to recruit people that are rejected due to their body types.

Aphelele Monti  Aphele is a Cost and Management Accounting student at CPUT. He’s currently working on a Digital Marketing and Nightclub Promotions project. He sees himself as a Certified Internal Auditor, Investor and freelance Content Creator.
