The Kardashian-Jenners have become regular fixtures on the Met Gala red carpet and leave us with dropped jaws every time.
When the most stylish – and followed family in the world combine with the biggest night in fashion, you can only expect all eyes to be on the clan to see what head-turning looks they show up in.
This year, the theme Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination meant guests channeled ‘ethereal, biblical, regal and angelic’ in their fashion choices, yet sisters Kim,and Kylie still managed to put their signature spin on it with their curvaceous bodies on display, while Kendall translated her effortlessly cool factor to a theme that’s intricate and complex.
Momager Kris Jenner was there too, solidfying her place as one of the most gorgeous 60-somethings on the planet.
Take a look at what they wore:
KIM KARDASHIAN WEST
The queen of the red carpet looked impeccable in a figure-hugging gold Versace dress with bejewelled cross detailing. She complemented the look with a cross necklace, a SNATCHED half-high pony and dramatic eye-makeup, giving us some serious Cleopatra vibes.
KYLIE JENNER
The young mom has not let motherhood hinder her from breaking fashion boundaries. Kylie wore a sleek, strapless Alexander Wang gown with stomach cut-out, mirrored sunglasses and Chopard diamond earings that was less Heavenly Bodies and more Aeon-Flux, sci-fi appropriate. But Kylie is never one to play by the rules. Fans got a little treat as she walked the red carpet with boyfriend Travis Scott, who wore a black military style top and accesorized with a harness on top.
KENDALL JENNER
Kendall Jenner embodied a modern angel that was not only elegant and sophitiacted but also had sported a slight urban, street-wear vibe thanks to designer Virgil Abloh’s trademark aesthetic. The Off-White creation was all-white and flaunted an off-the shoulder ruched couture top, sheer white elbow-legth gloves and matching long pants that had an actual train running from the bottom of each leg.
KRIS JENNER
As the matriarch of the family, Kris Jenner was not only the first to arrive on the red carpet, but also the one to stick closer to the theme than any of her daughters did, looking regal in a black gown with gold and burgundy embellishments on the bodice and sleeves and a dramatic full fur skirt. She matched her gown with maroon eyeshadow, as did her partner Corey Gamble, who walked alongside her in a deep burgundy velvet suit.
