JOHANNESBURG – After a lengthy break from the music industry, Lady Gaga releases her brand new single “Perfect Illusion”, making “Little Monsters” frenzied.

The track sounds like something you would have to get use to at first, but it definitely still sounds like Gaga. The single is being used in a promo for the sixth season of American Horror Story. It has been long overdue since her last album “Artpop” dropped in 2013 and a duet album with Tony Bennett, “Cheek to Cheek”, in 2014.

The pop star has taken a bit of a break since then to focus on her and her now ex-boyfriend Taylor Kinney, along with her acting career. Gaga had a leading role in the creepy hit show “American Horror Story”, which landed her a Golden Globe for AHS: Hotel.

She took it to Twitter announcing her decision to take a break from her relationship back in July 2016:

“Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”

Sadly, the relationship is an on and off situation, but welcome back Lady Gaga – it’s all about the music.
