Baking does not have to take the whole day, we have all seen mug cake recipes that are ready within a minute in a microwave.
There has also been a trend of short recipe’s that only require 5 or less ingredients to make.
These come in handy when you are low on ingredients but in the mood for a quick snack.
A young baker has shared his recipe for a four-ingredient M&M’s cookie that he whips up in minutes.
Jonny Massaad the founder of a same-day delivery company Cake Mail, shared his simple recipe on social media showing exactly how he made the cookie using ingredients you probably already have around the home; a banana, self-raising flour, peanut butter and mini M&M’s chocolate.
‘Here’s how you make a one minute M&M cookie in the microwave,’ he said in the video.
To make the dessert, he simply mashed half a banana in a small bowl using a fork.
Next, he mixed four teaspoons of self-raising flour and one teaspoon of peanut butter until well combined in a bowl.
He then stirred in the mini M&M’s. Jonny shaped the dough into a round cookie and placed it on a plate lined with baking paper. He sprinkled more M&M’s on top.
‘Put it in the microwave for one minute. And then enjoy,’ Massaad said.
The video has been viewed more than 70,000 times with many expressing that they can’t wait to try the recipe.
“This is a brilliant idea!” one wrote.
While another added, “I’m doing this. But I think I might use the oven instead.’
