If you have not been seeing Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye on your feeds frequently, then you’re living under a rock and you need to catch up.

In just over 24 hours the singer has been trending after he was released from jail on Thursday morning and today Mzansi took it upon themselves to update Jub Jub on what he has missed in the past few years.

Jub Jub was released on parole by Correctional Services after he was jailed with Themba Shabalala on March 8, 2010. The two crashed their Mini Coopers into a group of schoolboys in Protea North, Soweto.

Four boys, Prince Mohube, Mlungisi Cwayi, Andile Mthombeni, and Phomello Masemola were killed.

Frank Mlambo and Fumani Mushwana were reportedly left permanently brain damaged.

With only a few hours after his release, a song which is reported to be his new single featuring jazz singer Tsepo Tshola is making rounds online.

The song is supposedly asking for forgiveness for his ‘mistake.’

“My life was too fast…blindfolded by the good life and pressure of my boys…I was careless, sniffing coke, riding reckless. I thought that I was impressing, just living life to the fullest,” the rapper sang.

He also depicted moments were he broke down in prison from regret and wanting to make the most of his second chance.

“I’m tired of the mistakes that I have made. My tears were rolling down my cheeks when in prison, I got myself in trouble and you pulled me from the mud… I never thought this day would come, with what I have become, only prayers rubbing my palm. Now I can overcome any obstacle in front of me,” he raps in another verse.
