Bonang Matheba: There is no doubt that the TV presenter and entertainer was one of the most talked about woman in the entertainment industry. She impressed us when she hosted the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMS) with only 24 hours to prepare. One of her requirements was to have her own stylist Harrison Crite flown down from New York for the event.
Pearl Thusi: Pearl Thusi has been trending on social media for the longest time, even having a day dedicated to her #PearlThusiDay after she made her debut on Quantico, US television series. Aisha Baker-Parnell: We have seen her own the fashion industry, proving that beauty trends are more than just great style. It’s about confidence, being comfortable in your own skin, and making trends work for you while motivating others to rock the latest trends in the most beautiful and appealing way.
Nomzamo Mbatha: She may have been new on the scene a few years ago but now she has taken over the entertainment scene one giant step at a time. Mzansi has fallen in love with her and beauty. Last year she became the first South African face of international cosmetics brand, Neutrogena. This year she has been climbing the corporate leader with endorsements from PUMA ambassador to movie gigs and hosting gigs.
Over the years, I’ve learnt not to conform to the norm of what fashion styles and trends are, importantly I am not one to overthink an outfit. I have had many hits and misses, and I regret none as that was about getting to know myself. Fashion was one form where I truly connected with the very essence of me and in that I have found my confidence. Thus it’s truly been an honor to receive the SA Style Award for Most Stylish Artis in TV & Film.
