Johannesburg – The 16th Metro FM Music Awards announced this year’s nominees at the Forum in Bryanston last night and by the look of things, SA hip hop has once again dominated the list with more than ten rappers in various categories.
With Kwesta and Nasty C being the two rappers in the Song Of The Year category, they will go against the likes of Babes Wodumo, Amanda Black, Dr Malinga, Durban’s Finest, Lebo Sekgobela and Black Motion.
The awards ceremony aims at celebrating and honoring local musicians – will once again see each winner walking away with a grand prize of R100 000 per category, on the 25th of February 2017 at the iNkosi Albert Luthuli ICC in Durban.
