WATCH | HBO releases the teaser fans have been waiting for

It has been clear for a while now that 2019 is going to be a great year for Television, with the final season of Veep set to release, another season of Big Little lies coming and of course, the final season of Game of Thrones set for release in April.

With fans waiting in anticipation for April so the games can begin, HBO released a teaser that showed the first snippets of scenes from the Game of Thrones season finale.

In the clips, fans get to see Daenerys arriving at Winterfell, where she is greeted by Sansa Stark and Jon Snow.

“Winterfell is yours, your grace,” Sansa says to Daenerys. The brief clips previews the first time the eldest Stark daughter has met the Dragon Queen.

Also featured in the teaser were snippets from Big Little Lies, the finale season of Veep, Watchmen and, True Detective.

Soon after the release people took to Twitter with their comments on the teaser and before long the hashtag winterfell started trending.
