A foodie shared the creation on TikTok and insisted that it tasted just like pizza.

Shereen Chadoud, from Sydney, shared the video showing how she made the pasta on a stick, with cheese, olives, capsicum and zucchini as toppings.

To make the cheesy snack, she simply cooked the penne pasta until al dente and created her own sauce with vegetables.

‘I made a paste with pumpkin, sweet potatoes, carrots, zucchini, onion and garlic seasoned with Vegeta stock powder,’ she said.

Next, she threaded the pasta onto the skewers and brushed her sauce over the top.

The mum then topped each skewer with cheese, olives, pepper and zucchini.

‘I put it in the oven on the grill setting until golden,’ she explained.

Chadoud said her pasta on a stick was inspired by the food blogger, known as Heart Beat Food, who has more than 765,000 followers on TikTok.

‘Could this be the next food trend? Inspired by @heartbeatfood with my own twist… ‘It tastes like pizza… so good,’ she captioned her video.

Chadoud viewers were to give the recipe a try, with one writing, “This is so smart.”

And another writing, “I could eat one of those or 20.”

The snack is also a good way to hide vegetables for those that aren’t big fans.
