Sarah Jessica Parker finds herself in a battle as she wants to please both herself with the job that she is passionate of and her family that she’s hardly there for whenever it needs her.

The ‘Divorce’ actress admits there’s a constant conflict in her life because though she is a developed mother to son, James 13, and twins Tabitha and Loretta, seven, who she has with husband Matthew Broderick, she still enjoys her life outside home.

She admitted: “Parenting changes you in every possible way, but there’s a struggle, there is a conflict that exist, which is you also want to maintain this other part of your life.”

But the former Sex and The City star acknowledged some working parents experience very different feeling because they don’t love their jobs.

Speaking to people and entertainment Weekly editorial director Jess Cagle, she added: “That’s the issue. For many working women in this country who are working two to three jobs, it’s not guilt that they suffer, because they don’t love their work.”

The 51-year-old star recently admitted that she regularly discusses the challenges of a long-term relationship with her friends.

She said: “I was saying to someone recently, I can’t counsel you, you can only make these decisions for yourself. But it’s really important to think what you want for the future. Who do you want to be with, travel with and sit on that chair with?

“Sometimes, just asking yourself that can help you stop for a second, and perhaps not step outside the boundaries of your relationship.” – Bang Showbiz
