Discovering the unknown always makes road trips the best experiences ever.

Just because you can’t afford a fancy holiday on some exotic island doesn’t mean that you have to be stuck with a blurred no-chill holiday.

Think like a #disruptor and hit the road, the duration doesn’t really matter, whether it’s a day-long trip or a trip that goes on for days. You need to be amiable and chilled in order to transform those moments into the most fun and craziest experience ever.

Tip #1

Don’t tell anyone and don’t take your phone. Start driving and keep on driving.

I dare you to drive without care. I dare you. Go where the energy takes you.

Just drive, look at around you, let the wind blow through your hair, get out of the car, find a great spot and simply be. Just be, wherever you are, and with whatever you have.

Realise that you are enough, and this is all that is enough for you to be happy.

“There’s a whole world out there, right outside your window. You’d be a fool to miss it.”
― Charlotte Eriksson

Basically all you need to do is to pack your bags, get your drivers license ready, call your friends and
hit the road…

No matter how much you plan, you should always bear in mind that anything can happen and plans can be changed.

Keeping in mind the weather is unpredictable, road construction can occur, and you might come across accidents, but don’t worry all of this just means that it’s the beginning of a new discovery.

During such circumstances, just try to breathe and remember that one day you will have a good laugh about it.

Do’s

1. Cava icoast (Do some research)

The whole point of road trips is discovering, however it is important that you do a healthy amount of research about the place you’re travelling through.

As fun as it can be, you also don’t want to end up taking a wrong turn, remember you only live once.

Stupid decisions might lead to a dodge place, and you don’t want to be those people to hear the words, “you should have made a short left to the hub, it was Lit” yesterday.

2. A-game mode

Drop all your moods and come ready to laugh, have fun and experience new things. Doing something that you always do like getting drunk can be fun but its obvious, getting a black out and calling your ex, will be priceless.

3. Move to the jam

The best part about road trips, is picking the right tunes that will turn the whole car into a karaoke session. No body should act like a Dj and control the playlist, no matter how much you think you have the best jams, it might turn out that you have to take a back seat.

Allow a variety of music, so that the music can be inclusive to everyone.

4. Make sure you bring money

Road trips might lead to the outskirts of the city where there are no ATM’s, therefore it’s important that you come prepared.

It’s also advisable to bring and share food, so that it cuts costs and you avoid arguments and bad blood.

Don’ts

1. Don’t be a wet blanket

Just don’t be that person that always asks, “Are we there yet?” or complain about silly things. You are not going to a hotel, you have to make use of what’s available, so stop asking things you know you can’t get. If you are not willing to bring a fun spirit, we suggest that you rather stay at home.

2. Don’t be stingy

When the crew arrives at a filling station, atleast help by contributing and sharing the costs.

3. Avoid eating food that will call for the toilet

There is nothing that kills the whole vibe than a person who forces the crew to stop every 5 minutes to take a pee or even worse number 2. Eating is important, but just be mindful of what you will be chowing.

4. Don’t control music

When you are in the passenger seat you are the Dj, but that only means you operate and it doesn’t mean that you control the music.
