African Futurism

This season’s collection reflects a punctuation in South African History, spurring on the African Futurism movement. The  premium retailer made a bold statement with slogan apparel that echoes the hope and positive attitude on the rise; street wear with subliminal messaging that reflects the increasingly positive topics of conversation on the streets.

Africa is now!

The concept showcases how clothing can be used as a powerful form of language where the brand encourage the younger generation that we are ‘born to lead’ and we can ‘make it happen!’

D is for denim, deluxe and daring

In a pure expression of creativity, 80 one-off denim pieces were RE:imagined by top local designers. A new life was given to pre-loved denim pieces, through the hands of Thebe Magugu, Rich Mnisi, Young & Lazy, and Wanda Lephoto.

This collection not only showed off the versatility of RE: Denim but also how fashion is never finished, and is a canvas for creativity.
