Tlamelo Cindy Melemo describes herself as a young woman who is hustling her way through life in Africa.

The 23-year-old is the CEO of SoftBerry Solutions, a company that specialises in software, web and business development. The University of Sunderland graduate is also the CEO of a start-up called Sebaga Africa, which exports African products to international markets. 

Melemo is a member of the African Union Youth Parliament, an alumnus of Young African Leadership Initiative, a member of Global Shapers Community and is also the head of Recruitment and Selection in the YALI Regional Leadership Centre. In addition, she is a coordinator for the Union of Emerging Societies in Africa, a regional ambassador for Technovation and she participated in drafting the innovation policy for Africa with i4policy which has been adopted by the African Union. 

What inspires her is seeing young Africans changing the narrative in their respective fields. Melemo believes the youth of Africa are determined to change the continent and are working tirelessly to address its challenges.
