MTV Base has announced that, this year’s session will be headed by Hip Hop head, Proverb, with input and insights from veteran MC and producer Amu, UJFM 16BarsRELOADED’s host Spoken Priestess, DJ & producer DJ Capital, legendary rapper and label head Slikour, SA Hip Hop Awards’ supremo Rashid Kay.
Master lyricist Tumi will also be on hand, sharing and explaining the 6 key criteria that the panelists will weigh up: impact, lyrics, sales, buzz, style and other ‘intangibles’ that make them stand out from the crowd.
