JOHANNESBURG – Chelsea’s favorite new son, Antonio Conte has brought the lively energy with him and very quickly is stealing the hearts of all the blues around the world. Of course it would have always taken something very big for the Chelsea faithful to move on from their beloved son Jose Mourinho especially after everyone thought his second stint at Chelsea would now be “an” Alex Ferguson tenure. No one would have imagined it would run out so quickly.
Ninety-nine percent of Chelsea fans would have dearly loved to see Jose move to another league and not face the prospect of having to come face to face with him and this time in competitions more than the champions league. But waking up to the news that he joined rivals from Manchester would have been a bitter pill to swallow and news not warmly welcomed by the Stamford Bridge family, and you just knew then that moving on was on the cards and war was declared.
Well move on they did and just as the last season was one to forget, this season seems to have great signs in store and the energy just about feels like the Chelsea of old and you can’t help but enjoy the environment. If you have no idea what I mean just have a look at the bench during goal celebrations and tell me you still wonder why he is so successful in all the clubs he has managed, that energy and passion can only be good for the team.
Star player Eden Hazard is at the forefront and has shown way more than glimpses of the Hazard that was a nightmare for all defenders. “Eden is a fantastic player , he is working very well with a great attitude.
