Twitter Wars: let your fingers do the fighting

Twitter was been nothing less of drama this week, celebs, musicians, and politicians added a little flavor on our Twitter streets.

If you have missed all the drama, worry not we have the perfect update for you.

From singer and rapper Natcy C and musician Dr Malinga fight, right to Minster of Sports and Recreation, Fikile Mbalula’s fighter with anchor and TV personality Robert Marawa we all wanted to duck and dive to avoid being caught up in the fight.

For starters, it was interesting morning when Dr Malinga tweeted about the Metro FM awards stirring up beef with the winner of the best song category, Nasty C.

Tweeps went into a frenzy after the tweet with all kinds of reaction which were followed by a video response from Nasty C ridiculing Dr. Malinga’s age, work ethic, and fashion sense.

Dr.Malinga has since been entertaining his fans with tweets as he transcribed the video with hilarious tweets.

If that was not interesting enough the people’s minister Fikile Mbalula had unpleasant social media fight with Pearl Thusi’s husband, Robert Marawa.

According to media reports, their beef dates back to November 2016 when Robert invited Fikile to be a guest on Metro FM to talk about transformation.

Fikile didn’t make it to the show. Marawa then reportedly still spoke about Mbalula in a way that the minister saw as negative. Mbalula then wrote a letter to Metro FM about what Marawa said.

It seems like there are unresolved issues there!

Another politician and former leader of the DA Hellen Zille took to the twitter streets with very controversial issue of colonialism.

For those claiming legacy of colonialism was ONLY negative, think of our independent judiciary, transport infrastructure, piped water etc.

After a few backlashes from the Social Media, Zille apologiesd for her tweet.
