Power suits, flaming red and killer confidence was the winning formular for the evening.

South African Fashion Week started off with a bang yesterday with the Woolworths Style By SA show. Capsule collections by Rich Mnisi, Thebe Magugu and Young & Lazy came down the runway, showcasing ground-breaking local talent and proudly South Africn flair.

Of course, fashionistas on the side-lines and sitting front row didn’t come without their style A-game as well. Sporting the hottest Autumn/Winter trends, power suits and fire engine red seemed to be staple fixtures in the outfit choices of the evening – and not forgetting a healthy dose of killer confidence to work in front of the cameras.

We also had our eye on the gentlemen, who mixed urban athlerisure and dapper menswear with an artsy twist.
