We all know Victoria Beckham as “Posh Spice” from her days in the most iconic pop band of the 90’s…

Going from pop star to WAG*, to top designer and fashionista, an all rounder mother and to many, a style icon.

VB has come a long way since her pop days and ultimately established herself as a talented designer in our time, despite many being skeptical about a singer becoming a designer.

Clearly she proved everyone wrong.

Beckham’s design aesthetic can be described as pristine, with a monochrome and neutral palette with a ‘chic business woman’ flare.

Lots of stylish pants, exceptional tailoring on dresses and coats…

Looking at VB’s designs you automatically notice stylish bloggers and women wearing her pieces from her clothing line on the streets for Fashion Weeks, around the world.

Put simply; it’s a perfect range. ALL THE TIME.

It’s ready to wear, it looks expensive and stylish, and any woman can pull off at least one of her pieces.

Her design aesthetic fits who she is:

Posh.

Always looking so professional and impeccably dressed; VB looks as if she almost always steps out of a fashion spread.

Now for the twist…

Beckham went from being a topnotch high fashion designer to…

a Kids wear designer (ditto).

She announced that she would be collaborating with Target to start a kids and women collection; a “mommy and me” range.

She’s the face of Instyle’s April 2017 cover and modelled her own range, alongside some pretty adorable kids.

The inspiration behind the range is of course her only daughter, Harper.

Every woman should go for this range. It’s a “mommy and me” collection, so the pieces merge nicely with your little one’s outfit as well.

The collection shows how much Victoria has grown as a designer and how far she’s come from her beginning stages in 2008.

Her previous collections have always been these upmarket, tailored, high fashion ranges with a minimal colour sphere.

So, seeing her step out of that into a softer, playful more maternal side shows how versatile she is as a designer.

It shows that women can do it all while looking stylish and in trend as well.

The Target collection will be available (outside the US) on Victoriabeckham.com from Sunday 9 April.
