Shikhee Agrawal, of The Body Shop India, Amit Sarda, the managing director at Soulflower, and Bindiya Gupta, a beauty expert at Organic Harvest, have listed the beauty uses of different types of flowerslay ageing.

CAMELLIA

The  Camellia flower is high in oleic acid, making it moisturising and barrier-enhancing. It is the ultimate indulgent for skin hydration.

The soft velvety texture and moisturising qualities of the  Camelia flower extract leaves the skin feeling silky soft and subtly fragranced.

DANDELION

Most commonly used for skin refining, soothing and preventing premature ageing, dandelion extract is filled with nourishment.

Washing your face with dandelion extract is a great solution for itchy skin or eczema. It includes vitamins A, C and E, which protect the skin against free radical damage and stimulates collagen production.

LAVENDER

Lavender essential oil is one of the most versatile skin care products. It is packed with antioxidants that helps remove toxins from the skin.

The oil is anti-inflammatory and relaxing for the muscles and it can be applied  directly to the skin to treat eczema or acne.

ROSE

Rose oil helps to lighten scars, blemishes and sunburn.

JASMINE
