Abongwe leaves her mark.

Luxury fashion brand Imprint ZA aims to showcase the glamour as well as celebrate the history and culture of the African continent, using iconic prints and fabrics, bold colours and vibrant textures.

Creative Director Mzukizi Mbane is South African born and bred, and sites his ‘Africanism’ as one of his biggest design influences. His fashion pieces are rooted in local street culture and a vintage time period, and seeks to express the voices and impressions of the African people. This is something that is central to the brand. Each piece in every collection is created to ‘leave a mark’ – an imprint.

We’re in awe of the way Capetonian fashion blogger Abongwe presented a few key Imprint ZA garments in a high fashion photo set that was dramatic and moody yet incredibly beautiful, ethereal and graceful at the same time.  These images were featured on her website discostrayjacket.com and were captured by talented photographer Dambakuombera.
