After the discovery of the meme boy Jake, who is photographed siting on the table writing with a serious look, social media has been abuzz with creative adaptations.

Jake was introduced to social media by a Chicago-based artist, Solomon Adufha who said in an Instagram post that he’s teaching children how to draw as a means of giving back to the community. Now, social media has taken it upon themselves to help raise money towards Jake’s education.

Jake has been dubbed as the darling of social media, making a stir on social media in every trending topic, according to www.thisisafrica.me. Jake is one of Africa’s, if not the world’s, most famous and widely shared memes right now.

Since the early hours of today, Jake has been going viral with shares as users are in support of initiative to raise funds for his education. In a statement Adutfha said, “I would love to help Jake in his education as well as others who are extremely eager to learn.”
