Feta & Olive Beef Burger Recipe:
Makes 4
Ingredients:
500g beef mince
1 red onion, finely chopped
10ml chopped garlic
250ml fresh white breadcrumbs
100g feta cheese, crumbled
50g black olives, pitted and roughly chopped
45ml chopped basil
45ml chopped parsley
1 egg, beaten
salt and pepper
olive oil for cooking
fresh bread rolls
sundried tomatoes
slices of cucumber
potato wedges
Method:
Combine all the ingredients for the burger and mix well.
Divide the mixture into four portions and shape into patties.
Brush with olive oil and cook on the braai until done to your liking.
Serve on a bread roll with a few pieces of sundried tomato and slices of cucumber.
Accompany the burgers with potato wedges.
